Where does your happiness lie?!
"Happiness"... such an abstract-subjective-complicated-and-yet-so-simple word to describe our most inner feelings and state of mind...
Sometimes it seems that we cannot really pin point the way we are headed, like we have lost our compass, other times we find excuses to postpone different projects and tasks, other times we find ourselves lost in a grimy routine, where we have no passion for the jobs we do, no smiles and "thank yous" left for the people around us.
We make such strong efforts while searching for (daily) happiness when all this time it probably laid in sharing a simple conversation with a friend, drinking a beer (or more) with colleagues/ friends after work, typing to someone dear and saying a simple "Hi! How are you?", drinking your morning coffee from your favourite mug, or maybe it laid in enjoying some Xmas cookies baked by your best friend,
or in sharing a chocolate candy with someone dear:
or in cooking/ sharing dinner with the one(s) you love.
So, before doing some strong mental efforts to think how to feel happy, just be aware of the small moments around you, small moments that you are actually part of.
