Urban fairytale
Inspiration can spring from everything and nothing. People which you pass by, places you go to, infinite thoughts that run through your mind, daily.
- As I was starting my second photo shoot, I've found myself focused on shadows. I enjoyed playing with them and I also took advantage as much as I could of a bright winterish sunlight:
I wanted to transform the usual, but in the same time I tried to keep it simple and give everything a fairytale feeling. A modern tale set in an urban ambient. Where else I can find everything mixed up together: the old, the new?!
2.My journey in the realm of light and shadow, continued in a monochromatic manner. I looked for light, to leave the shadows a bit behind:
3.One is always searching for that feeling of belonging to, being part of. These have always been measures of one's daily life, both in a physical and psychical way.
With an evolution of about 6/ 7 million years, one finds himself daily trapped in the urban environment.
Can you look the part, and yet keep your own self true?!
4.Stay focus on your future and don't mind the distractions that will come your way, like this weird magical creature, who will try to startle you:
5.Stand out from the crowd:
6.Lend some of your character to the pair of shoes you're wearing:
7.Charm your way into the world of accessories - when in doubt, opt for a pocket square:
8.Go out, even for 3/ 5 minutes. Feel the warm sunlight on your face:
9.Use colours as much as you can, have fun with your clothes, express your joy of living:
10.Open your eyes and your mind:
11.Accessorize once again:
12.Go to (one of) your favourite place(s), once in a while:
13.Melancholy never hurt anyone. But I think it must be kept in the average dose, so its extremity won't be reached. This means: have dreams, wishes and daydream from time to time.
14.Give your outfit a playful touch, relax and keep those jeans rolled:
15.The best part of wearing a pair of distressed/ destroyed/ ripped jeans: they go well in any season and you get to play with the threads in one of those early meetings, or while grilling in the weekends, or while walking your pet outside.
16.And the best part of pairing a sweater with a shirt: during the day, if the weather starts to get warmer, simply take the sweater off! Just remember to have a contrast and dress up in colours which make you smile.
