The Art of NOT Disappointing Yourself...

One day I've suddenly realized how people are afraid of other people, of objects, of ideas... and more often afraid of the UNKNOWN, of the events that haven't happened yet.

Insecurities makes us weak, comparing ourselves with others makes us little by little loose confidence in our own self and when one grows up hearing constantly comparisons between him/ her and others, it tends to be a bit difficult to learn how no to judge others and figure out what you want to achieve.

Others strive to prove this WORLD something, others look to impress their parents, their significant other, their teachers, so on and so forth. But it's actually about themselves, about feeling that they belong in that moment, at that place.

Receiving good news always helped me to have a great start in the day, to have a big smile on my face and think "This is not a coincidence!".

And so far one good news, has brought three more good news. Awaiting to receive more!

While you wait, maybe you should do your nails, get a haircut, iron your dirndl, spend some time after hours with some friends over a drink, make plans with your colleagues, call someone you haven't heard in a long time, leave a voice message to a friend, smile to the lady who sells chestnuts, hug your friend who works at the supermarket, smile when you see the blackbirds in the park, make your friends laugh, wake up your colleague by sneezing (involuntarily!), accept compliments, go to a concert, enjoy your lunch at work, play some music at night before you go to sleep, buy tiny gifts for friends, play with your children, hug your loved ones, prepare yourself some yummy dinner, make time for your hobby (or hubby!), vent away all your problems to a friend... whatever the case: simply try to focus on the positive and surround yourself with awesome sweet people!
