Ode to Summer... in Monochrome
Being true to yourself should be basic.
There could be a time when you could suddenly realize something's changed.
Sometimes you have no idea what has changed, but other times you can actually touch, see and sense the change.
Adapting to changes around us proves to be often very difficult. And nowadays is even more challenging than ever.
It shouldn't be complicated to adapt to changes, when you have a goal, a dream and you know exactly what you need to do and you go back on the main road (or shortcut) after each detour arises.
But when you are clueless or even worse, when all the odds are against you, it's hard to make an easy decision (an adult makes about 35,000 conscious decisions, daily).
I've noticed that when times are tough, so tough that it's indescribable, some people, while they say they're trying to be positive, they actually kind of stare at an invisible wall and all this negativity, fury, and desperation crawls inside their soul.
When such times arise, questioning everything is on a loop.
Turning to people who care about you doesn't mean you're helpless, it only means sometimes is good to have somebody who can listen and try to show you there's always a dreamy side of the nightmare.
But maybe it's good something changed and when you'll look back, you shouldn't be so harsh with yourself.
