Bohemian Summer
There are infinte types of summers, so diverse and unique just like each one of us.
Among others, for me, last summer was a bohemian one, during which I've discovered the following:
- Daniel Swarovski, the glass cutter and jeweler
was born in Bohemia; - Prague is filled with witty, funny
and interesting souvenir shops, if you know wehere to go; - almost each building,
some lampposts
and even some gates
around the city center area are decorated in various styles, living proofs of Pragues rich history; - sometimes the best details
are to be found when you climb a hill, in order to see the largest ancient castle in the world; - Prague is home to the fifth best Zoo in the world:
- a corner of a building
it's not just a simple corner; - familiar faces
are to be found when you least expect; - words
are not enough to express ourselves; - in order to never forget certain parts of the history, places
have to be marked; - a different perspective
is always welcomed; - unicorns
do exist; - doorways in Prague are quite majestic;
- buildings
do carry out messages; - eight human hands showing different gestures,
such as the v(ictory) sign and the stretched out palm, represent freedom and democracy; - some places do look
like portals to another long lost world; - of course, chocolate, does
come in various forms.
